EVO Returns to ESPN with Street Fighter V World Championship

Just like last year, the largest fighting game tournament is once again receiving a national television broadcast for its grand finale, the Street Fighter V World Championship.

Featuring some of the world’s best Street Fighter V players, the World Championship will be sure to feature plenty of impressive action when it kicks off on Sunday, July 16 at 7 PM PT on ESPN2 and Twitch. The official EVO Twitch channel will also have the added benefit of a full day’s worth of Finals hype, as the Top 8 Finals for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Tekken 7 and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U all take place that same day beginning at 7:45 AM PT.

EVO kicks off this Friday at 10 AM PT with Pools for the above games, plus Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, Injustice 2, Super Smash Bros. Melee and The King of Fighters XIV.
