Face the Nightmares from your Past in Destiny 2: Shadowkeep

Bungie today dropped a new trailer for Destiny 2: Shadowkeep that showcased long-forgotten enemies.

Shadowkeep, Destiny 2’s next expansion, is all about revisiting the past in new ways. Players travel back to the Moon, a pivotal location from the first game. Only, this time, a new evil has been unleashed. With an imposing castle reaching out of the craters, players will explore new locales and face off against the ghosts of their pasts.

As shown in the trailer, numerous villains from the previous games and expansions make a ghostly return. These include Phogoth, Omnigul, Ghaul, and Crota. The trailer also provides a look at some of the new weapons and armor players can collect.

The release of Shadowkeep also heralds in the Season of the Undying. In Shadowkeep’s first season of content, players will face off against the Vex threat coming from the Garden of Salvation. The season kicks off October 5 for all owners of Shadowkeep.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is out October 1 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is a launch title for Google Stadia this November.
