Harvest Moon has long been the gold standard in anime-styled farming simulation. However, in the past few years, more indie initiatives have come to challenge its throne.

The latest newcomer is World's Dawn. Developed by independent studio Wayward Project, this game takes those much-loved aspects of farming and life simulation but without the modern Harvest Moon issues. It even features a pixel top down perspective reminiscent of classic titles.

World's Dawn promises over 30 hours of gameplay filled with friendship, farming, romance, cooking, fishing, and much more. You'll be able to visit Sugar Blossom Village when the game hits Steam on January 25.
