The latest installment in the Fatal Frame series, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water was released a few months ago and received average reviews, but that's not enough for some of its biggest fans. Plenty of players are a bit peeved that the game is only available via Nintendo eShop. So, the only logical way to reverse this is to their voice be heard by Nintendo, GameStop and XSEED.

One passionate fan created a petition on Change.org to let each company know how badly they messed up by not producing physical copies of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. It started a few months ago but supporters are still rolling in. They're making a stand specifically for video game collectors. They mention the game's file size being too large for gamers to keep stored on the Wii U. With a physical copy of the game, there's more free space for other applications.

The petition calls for GameStop and Nintendo to have an exclusive deal and sell Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water in stores or have XSEED publish physical copies. More than half of the required 5,000 supporters have backed this petition but it's unsure what'll happen next. Either way, with enough fans signing the petition, perhaps one of the companies will hear their voice.
