In a move that is sure to delight the Final Fantasy fans of the world, Square Enix revealed they have a bundle of old school Final Fantasy CDs in the works. These albums are remastered versions of some of the classic Super Famicon games, with the first one being Final Fantasy IV: Original Soundtrack Remaster Version.

The CD is slated for a July 3 release and will set itself apart from the 5,000 over renditions of IV's soundtrack by including remastered Super Famicon arrangements of songs such as "The Theme of Love," "The Red Wings" and "Battle with Golbez's Four Fiends." On top of that, first-print copies will have a Yoshitaka Amano illustrated cover -- that in itself is a fanboys wet dream.

Later in the year, Square has plans to release these remastered compositions for Final Fantasy V and VI, as well. So be on the lookout for those in the coming months.
