According to a new filing by the ERSB, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will be rated T for Teen, a move which was expected.

Square Enix recently revealed that a remake of the 2006 PlayStation 2 title would be making its way to PlayStation 4 sometime next year. As of now, the release date on Square Enix's official store is shown as TBD, but the fact that there's now a final North American rating lends credence to the idea that it could ship sometime in the next couple of months.

As always, the actual description of why a game received its respective rating is nothing short of comical:

Some sequences depict additional acts of violence: a character impaled in the chest with an arrow; a character stabbed in the chest with a knife. One scene depicts a corpse on a throne with a bloody stab wound. Some female characters wear outfits that reveal large amounts of cleavage and/or buttocks.

Yes, if buttocks and knives are not your thing, then Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is not for you. For more news on this exciting remake ahead of its release, stay tuned to Hardcore Gamer.
