It's with great pleasure that I get to report that Square Enix announced today that the reboot of Final Fantasy XIV under the subtitle "A Realm Reborn" will be released this coming summer. Though a hard date has yet to be supplied, Square stated that phase 3 of the closed beta testing that will see PlayStation 3 owners finally get a taste at what he game has to offer will commence in early June. This beta will allow for cross-platform play between the PC and PS3 players, and will implement new content not before experienced in the previous betas, such as the city states of Limsa Lominsa and the place that was the center of all social interaction in version 1.0, Ul'dah.

As you wait for phase 3, open beta and the subsequent retail release, check out the screenshots below that include an image of each of the classes and jobs in the game (minus the Summoner job that Square has been all hush-hush about).
