Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker Delayed

During Live Letter LXVII, Naoki Yoshida opened with some unfortunate news. Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker would not be making its November 23 release date.

Instead, the highly anticipated fourth expansion will now be releasing on December 7, with the early access coming December 3 for those who pre-ordered. This is a massive blow, especially for those who took time off work for the release, and those who have been planning around the Savage raid which was originally going to be released during Christmas week.

This is incredibly unfortunate, but we have to remember, considering Final Fantasy XIV’s past, it’s best to ensure the game is released as complete as possible. An MMORPG as big as this shouldn’t have an expansion come out broken or unfinished, so hopefully the two weeks gives them enough time to polish everything up.
