Square Enix has revealed that Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition has surpassed three million downloads worldwide.

The abridged mobile version of Square Enix’s long-awaited Final Fantasy XV launched last month on iOS and Android devices.

According to the Final Fantasy XV publisher’s tweet, Pocket Edition reached the milestone in less than a month.

Pocket Edition is broken up into ten separate chapters, with the first one available as a free download.

The mobile version has fully optimized controls and follows the same story as its console counterpart -- but favors a more colorful, cartoonish art direction.

Final Fantasy XV, which was first announced in 2006 as Final Fantasy Versus XIII, was released in 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will also make its way to PC this Tuesday, March 6.

Earlier this week, Square Enix posted on Twitter that Final Fantasy XV’s PC version could be pre-loaded ahead of its release.
