You'd be a fool to think the heated debate between resolution and frame-rate will be dying down anytime soon and regardless of which of the two developers decide to prioritise, it's always going to upset/disappoint one or the other crowd. So it's welcome news when a studio decides to offer both as an option to the player and for the first time on the Switch, Fire Emblem Warriors will allow you to choose between a 1080p resolution or 60 frames-per-second.

In an interview with this month's issue of Japanese gaming magazine, Nintendo Dream -- as spotted by Nintendo Everything -- director Hiroya Usuda has stated that while the game's standard setting will be 1080p/30FPS, there will be an option to bump up the frame-rate to 60FPS at the cost of resolution which will, as a result, go down to 720p. Some may remember Koei Tecmo offered a similar option with one of their earlier releases this year, the action RPG Nioh. Fire Emblem Warriors will be available on both Switch and the New model of 3DS, this Fall.
