Fire Pro Wrestling World hit the PC last year and has been a huge underground success. Since then, the game has undergone a slew of improvements alongside the announcement that many members of the New Japan Pro Wrestling roster will be joining its roster. The console version has been one that many have wanted, and today, Spike Chunsoft revealed information about its launch and physical release. The game and its new Fighting Road story mode will hit the PlayStation 4 on August 28. Early adopters who get the first print run will also receive a New Japan Pro Wrestling almanac with their copy of the game. The New Japan roster featured in the game isn't full - but is star-heavy, with acts like Kenny Omega, Tetsuya Naito, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Kazuchika Okada featured. The game can be pre-ordered now from Amazon for $49.99 - which gets you the original PC game's contents alongside the New Japan roster and its story mode, along with the ability to download any created content crafted for that version of the game.
