Somewhere out in the realms of the undead there's bound to be a vampire.  All those uncounted thousands of shambling monstrosities have to have a master somewhere, but until it's found the heroes will just keep tearing through its minions with an escalating fury of magical destruction.  The problem is that hero's overwhelming force may be enough to clear out the hordes for a while but it only takes a tiny fraction of the attackers to get through to start causing real damage, so the effective monster hunter needs to not only be strong but have a thorough knowledge of the weapons and skills to combine them into a unified offensive force that can get through the night.  Since its Early Access release late last year Vampire Survivors has seen countless players grow strong enough to unravel its secrets, including the ones that came with the full version's release in mid-October.  Now there's about to be a whole new set of items and characters to play with thanks to the announcement of Vampire Survivors' first DLC, Legacy of the Moonspell.

Legacy of the Moonspell can basically be described as More.  Eight new Asian-themed characters (including a tanuki), thirteen new weapons, six music tracks, and a single giant level billed as "the biggest one yet", complete with different environments inhabited by their own unique monsters.  This all clocks in at $1.99, with a December 15 release date to go tromping through the horde on PC or Xbox One/X/S.  It's also the first hint at plans for Vampire Survivors' future growth, as it pushes forward to whatever its eventual final form may look like.
