Three years ago, Playground Games was celebrating the recent launch of Forza Horizon 4, which had reached an impressive two million players in its first week of availability.

Now, Forza Horizon 5 has managed to achieve more than double the player base size in an even shorter span of time, according to a recent tweet from Head of Xbox Phil Spencer. Since the game’s early access launch on November 5, Forza Horizon 5 has already garnered over 4.5 million players despite only officially releasing to the public yesterday, which marks the biggest launch day for an Xbox Game Studios title to date.
