Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor showcasing the game's three antagonists.  These are The Tower, Black Hand, and The Hammer.

The Tower is described as the most horrifying of Sauron's servants.  He's a Black Numenorean that serves as the lead torturer in Barad-Dur and represents the horror and viciousness of Sauron.  The Black Hand is also a Black Numenorean and leader of the Black Captains.  He represents the lying and deceitful nature of Sauron.  Finally we have The Hammer, a former Gondor Soldier at the Battle of the Last Alliance.  He discovered Sauron's hammer and was transformed into a mighty, evil warrior.  Sauron is shown in the trailer, though it remains to be seen whether he and Talion will physically cross paths.

Many of the game's encounters are driven by Monolith's Nemesis system.  Encounters with the three antagonists are not subject to this system and are scripted.  Talion will face off against these three are specific sections of the campaign.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is out September 30 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
