Microsoft brought along another Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare single player demo to show at their press conference. The action takes place on the “Collapse” campaign mission. You and your team are tasked with intercepting a van making its way to the Golden Gate Bridge. Since this is a Call of Duty game all hell breaks loose culminating with the destruction of the San Francisco, California landmark.
The demo showcases many gameplay features new to the Call of Duty franchise including the jetpack, strafing, and the many new grenades. You’ll also get to drive around in a lethal vehicle before having to fight on foot. The game looks good and is a huge step up from last year’s Call of Duty: Ghosts. Yesterday, Activision and Sledgehammer Games show off the game’s multiplayer component, which looks like a huge step up from Call of Duty: Ghosts.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is out November 4 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Those who pre-order the game can get the Day Zero Edition, which launches November 3.
