According to various reports today, it seems several GameStops have a new Call of Duty: Ghosts poster, which reveals the upcoming Onslaught map pack. This is similar to last year, where various Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 map packs were also revealed via GameStop posters.

Going off the poster, it seems Onslaught will offer four multiplayer maps (Fog, Bayview, Containment and Ignition), a new extinction map (Episode 1: Nightfall) and the Maverick AR & sniper rifle gun. Despite the maps sounding quite interesting, gamers seem more interested in the mysterious Maverick AR & sniper rifle gun. Some speculate that this gun proves the poster is fake, since the gun should be known as a marksman. Others believe that they’re actually two guns and the poster is actually saying Maverick assault rifle & Maverick sniper rifle guns. A final small group believes the gun has an assault rifle mode and a sniper rifle mode, which you can switch between.

Besides all the gun speculation and maps listed, the poster also says Onslaught will release on January 28, 2014. This would make it the last Tuesday of the month and means we should be hearing or seeing more of Onslaught in the near future.
