Goats are weird but also kind of amazing.  They can eat just about anything and have really weird irises in their eyes.  Those freaky-weird eyeballs are merely window dressing, however, and their main superpowers are the ability to stand on anything, including vertical surfaces, and deliver a head butt that can knock you into next week.  With this skillset it's surprising how few games feature goats, but this Friday sees Limited Run Games releasing two of them side-by-side.  Escape Goat 2 is a brilliant puzzle-platformer about a goat and his sidekick mouse adventuring through the trapped rooms of the Stronghold of Toragos, triggering machinery to rearrange the levels while trying to do it in a way that doesn't get you squished or fried.  Toto Temple Deluxe, on the other hand, has the goat as the goal in a multiplayer scramble to be the one to hold on to it as long as possible while all your friends try to steal it back.  The final game doesn't appear to have a goat in it anywhere, although that's hardly definite, and it's the tower defense game Pixeljunk Monster 2.  Both Escape Goat and Toto Temple Deluxe are PS4-exclusive and clock in at 2,300 copies apiece.  Pixeljunk Monsters 2 is available on PS4 and Switch with a Collector's Edition for each plus a third Collector's on PC.  The Switch and PS4 standard versions plus PC Collector's Edition are unlimited pre-order for a two week period, while the PS4 Collector's Edition comes in at 1,500 copies and the Switch Collector's Edition is 2,500.

It's also worth noting that, while initially Switch games were going to be on Mondays, that's changed after the voting from a Twitter poll showed that fans preferred everything on Friday.  Feel free to update your calendars and paychecks accordingly.
