France isn’t normally thought of as a hotbed for game development, but as this week’s GOG sale shows, there are a ton of great games made there. Dead Cells is easily the best overall modern game offered up here, while the Evoland games are a blast for those seeking a fast-paced JRPG-style game. Indigo Prophecy hasn’t had much modern fanfare, but works like a charm on modern devices and is perfect in an age with the rest of Quantic Dream’s stuff being available on PC too. There’s a lot of variety in this sale and there’s something for everyone here.
