GungHo has done a great job of keeping the legend of Grandia alive over the last decade. The release of Grandia II Anniversary Edition brought the Dreamcast classic to a new generation, and now the Grandia HD Collection is set to do that alongside Grandia HD on its own on PC. Grandia II Anniversary Edition will be renamed to Grandia II HD Remaster soon, with Grandia HD Remaster coming to Steam soon.

Alongside these PC releases will be a Switch version of both called the Grandia HD Collection. Both Grandia games on Switch will feature improved graphics and large worlds to explore. Both versions have widescreen support, while the PC will have resolution customization and Steam cards and achievements. Both will also have English and Japanese audio, with visual upgrades to all of the original game's video and art. Grandia HD will be the first major re-release for the game in about 20 years, while the series will be portable for the first time ever with the Grandia HD Collection on Steam. More details on the games will be released at E3 next week.
