In two live-action trailers that aired during the commercials tonight's The Walking Dead, Halo 5: Guardians finally got a release date.

The ads each feature a confrontation between Master Chief and new protagonist Locke, before the hashtag #HuntTheTruth appears, fading into the Halo 5: Guardians logo with 10.27.15, signaling an October 27, 2015 release date.
