We knew Dead Star was coming, but here are the rest of the free games that PlayStation Plus subscribers will be getting for the month of April.

In case you didn't know, Dead Star is a top-down shoot 'em up from Armature Studio, an indie team founded by some of the folks who worked on Metroid Prime. Dead Star has RPG elements like skill trees, upgrades, and the like, but with a team-based, multiplayer core. Alongside Dead Star, Zombi will come to PS4 in all its survival horror glory. Zombi was originally a Wii U exclusive (called Zombi U) that was actually well received for its genuine survival horror gameplay and a neat setting.

For PS3 owners, the games are I Am Alive and Savage Moon. I Am Alive is a third person action/survival game from Ubisoft Shanghai where you play as Carlo, a man trying to survive an apocalypse while protecting a young girl named Mei. The game received middling reviews, but is worth the free price tag. Savage Moon is a tower defense game that has you protecting a mining facility on a moon (not our moon) from insect-like aliens.

And finally PS Vita owners. Shutshimi and A Virus Named Tom both look crazy. Shutshimi is a 2D side scrolling shooter where you play as a fish that instead of fins has muscular, human arms. I don't know. A Virus Named Tom is an action-puzzle game where your goal is to spread a virus throughout computers, robots, and other computing hardware. Less weird, but a very quirky game and a pretty funny one.
