IO Interactive today announced the Hitman HD Enhanced Collection for PS4 and Xbox One.

Two classic Hitman titles are coming to current-gen consoles next week. On January 11, PS4 and Xbox One owners can download the Hitman HD Enhanced Collection, which includes Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution.

“We’re very happy with this collection and how we were able to update and remaster two of our classic Hitman titles for modern consoles,” said Hakan Abrak, CEO, IO Interactive. “Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution have helped us on our journey to where we are today, and we’re looking forward to players enjoying them in 4K and 60 fps.”

In addition to the 4K resolution and 60fps gameplay, the enhanced edition features numerous other improvements. For example, the games feature increased texture resolution, super-sampling, updated controls, and improved lighting. As a result, console players are getting quite an upgrade. IO Interactive made no mention of these updates making their way to the PC versions.
