If you’ve been keeping tabs on the annual cycle of clambering for games to be dated, updated, or simply showing up in one of the many online presentations, no doubt you’ll know that one of the most eagerly anticipated games of the past few years is Team Cherry’s follow-up to 2017’s Hollow Knight. Hollow Knight: Silksong, announced way back in 2018, started as a mere expansion to the original, but quickly evolved and expanded into being its own stand-alone sequel.
Aside from a few mentions here and there, the wait for an inevitable release date has only grown more frustrating and a touch comical it has to be said. And today, it looked as if that multi-year wait would be coming to an end, with the announcement that Silksong will also be coming to Xbox platforms — with it being available via Xbox Game Pass the same day of release as well. Sadly, the most important detail was once again absent. Maybe another time then, fellow Silksong followers. Hollow Knight: Silksong is also planned to release for PC & Nintendo Switch.
