By all accounts, Homefront: The Revolution has been a disappointing game, full of bugs, frame rate issues and mediocre gunplay. In a statement posted to the developer's Facebook page, Dambuster Studios is promising patches and new content to address issues with the game.

Recognizing the troubled, protracted development cycle that led to the game's launch, Dambuster said it is "aware that performance - particularly frame rate - is not currently where we want it to be, and we are working on additional patches to help address these issues and more."

As well, the developer said the first free round of content has been unlocked, which includes new outfits and boosters, and promised new free missions coming by the end of June with more to follow.
