The Battlefield 4 beta has officially launched today, but that doesn't mean you'll get to play it straight away. Those who've pre-ordered the Battlefield 4 PC Digital Deluxe Edition (on Origin), are a Battlefield 3 Premium Member or a registered owner of Medal of Honor Warfighter (owning that game is finally paying off!) Limited Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition can join the beta today. Everybody else can join on October 4.

The beta is available to be downloaded on Xbox Live, PSN or Origin and features the Siege of Shanghai map as well as two game modes and the power of "Levolution."

Battlefield 4 Launches October 29 for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Fans who buy the console versions an upgrade to next-gen starting at $9.99.
