Gamer Network announced on Tuesday that it’s partnering with HTC to bring the eagerly awaited VR headset HTC Vive to EGX Rezzed 2016.

HTC Vive, which “wowed” attendees at EGX 2015, will be available on the show floor at this year’s gaming convention, but those wishing to try out the VR headset will need to book a time slot at the NVIDIA and HTC Booth on the day.

With the HTC Vive at the event, Gamer Network confirmed in its press release that the VR headset is being accompanied by five ‘thrilling’ titles: Arizona Sunshine, Fantastic Contraption, Tilt Brush, Job Simulator and TheBluVR.

“Virtual reality will transform the way we interact with the world and we're delighted that Rezzed attendees will be able to try out the latest Vive content,” says Jon Goddard, head of Vive Marketing (EMEA).

NVIDIA EMEAI vice president Jaap Zuiderveld added: “Virtual reality is an incredible advance for gamers, providing full immersion in whole new worlds. The best VR experience demands enormous computing power -- and the best way to get that is with NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX GPUs.”

HTC Vive, which was officially unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in March 2015, was taken on a world tour last year, having made an appearance at three big gaming conventions -- Gamescom, PAX Prime and Paris Games Week -- and also stopping at several states across the U.S.

HTC, who is co-developing the Vive with Steam creator Valve, revealed a price for the VR headset last week.

With pre-orders for the HTC Vive opening near the end of this month, the headset is scheduled to launch sometime in April 2016.

EGX Rezzed, one of the biggest gaming conventions in the UK, will be taking place from April 7 to April 9 at the Tobacco Dock in London. Tickets for the event can now be purchased on EGX’s official website.
