Sales for Human: Fall Flat have surpassed four million across all platforms, Curve Digital and No Brakes Games have announced.

The puzzle-platformer was initially released on Steam Early Access in 2016, eventually leading to a full launch on PC. Curve and No Brakes brought Human: Fall Flat to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in 2017, with the Nintendo Switch version released later in the same year.

According to Curve, Human: Fall Flat’s eight-player multiplayer expansion, which was introduced in 2017, has been “greatly expanding the audience base of its wobbly physics-based puzzle and exploration game.”

As well as setting a new milestone, Human: Fall Flat’s latest patch has hit PC and adds full Japanese and Korean localization to the title. The patch notes (posted via Steam) also reveal that the developer has addressed miscellaneous enhancements to the advanced video options and minor bug fixes.

Earlier this year, Super Rare Games confirmed a limited physical release for Human: Fall Flat on Switch.

“I’m astounded that Human: Fall Flat has reached so many people already, and with the new Japanese and Korean language options, I’m thrilled that it will reach more,” says Tomas Sakalauskas, head of No Brakes. “The idea that the game started out as a solo-development endeavour and now has millions of fans all over the world is truly astonishing.”

Jason Perkins, managing director at Curve, added: “We’ve been blown away by how Human: Fall Flat has been welcomed in Asia. With the release of Korean and Japanese languages for the game, we hope Bob’s adventures will continue to be enjoyed by even more players around the world.”
