Those who hop onto Batman: Arkham Origins multiplayer today will find a brand new game mode to play.  Available for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, the new 'Hunter, Hunted' multiplayer mode will add a whole new level of intensity to the multiplayer.

'Hunter, Hunted' is Batman: Arkham Origins take on the 'Last Man Standing' game mode.  This 3 vs. 3 vs. 1 game mode pits three of Bane's thugs against three of Joker's thugs and Batman in a match to be the last ones standing.  There are no respawns meaning you'll have to be extra careful with how you play.  Another slight twist is that there will be no Robin to help Batman out.

Batman: Arkham Origins launched near the end of October on PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U.  Warner Bros. Montreal developed the single player, but not the multiplayer.  Instead, development for that was handed to Splash Damage.  Reviews for the multiplayer ended up being quite mixed.  At least the new mode is free.

Warner Bros. opted to release the Wii U version of the game without the multiplayer component due to the small install base.  So far no DLC has been released for the platform either.
