After fifteen years of the same logo, Insomniac Game announced on Twitter today their new one, as well as a new Ratchet and Clank artbook coming from Dark Horse comics.

Their new logo, featured in a blog post on Insomniac's website, is much simpler than previous iterations, all of which you can see below. The rest of the post celebrates some of Insomniac's achievements over the past decade and a half, including 25 released games, 18 workplace culture awards, and even 200 babies born of Insomniac employees. They also mention how the logo hasn't changed, with the over-sized "O" and serif "N"'s, and the "Games" portion being positioned in the lower right. The new logo is supposed to convey more accurately what the team at Insomniac wants to be, and how they think of themselves. They'll also be hosting a Twitch stream on Tuesday at 4:30pm EST, which they say they'll be doing more of. And they're hiring, so if you're looking into getting into the games industry, or looking for a move, check out their careers page.

Concurrently with the announcement of their new logo, Insomniac also announced on Tuesday that a new artbook by Dark Horse comics will look at the history of the Ratchet and Clank series. It will feature never-before-seen concept art and a behind-the-scenes commentary. The book comes in celebration of the 15 year anniversary of Ratchet and Clank.

"It’s amazing that Ratchet and Clank is turning 15," Ted Price, the CEO and Founder of Insomniac Games told Dark Horse. "The whole team here has put a lot of love into the series. We’re thrilled to be able to share this collection of artwork with Ratchet & Clank’s loyal fans."

The Art of Ratchet and Clank will be available on February 21, 2018, and can be pre-ordered right now on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, TFAW, or a local comic book store.
