Last week Limited Run Games released both Rive and King's Gold, and it looked at the time like July was going to be a light month.  Then everything changed, as everything has a tendency to do, and July kind of went a bit nuts instead with three games added to the release schedule over the next two weeks.  This Friday, June 14, sees Jotun: Valhalla Edition on PS4 released at 4800 copies, just the single game on one console.  Next week, June 21, comes with Drive!Drive!Drive! at 3,000 copies and NeuroVoider at 3,500, both of which are also PS4-exclusive.  There's no more Vita gaming until June 28, which has Plague Road on both PS4 and Vita at 2,8oo copies apiece, which may be a smaller print run but is still considerably more than the Kickstarter-exclusive cover which is in the mid-triple-digits between both PS4 and Vita.

In other Limited Run Games news, it was just announced that the PS4 version of Skullgirls has finally cleared certification and goes into manufacturing tomorrow, July 13.  It's a bit later than the original intended ship date of January 2017 but, to make up for the delay, an extra in the form of a pencil board has been added to the package.  Fans have been waiting impatiently since the pre-order period ended mid-November 2016, but while progress on completing the updates that the pre-order funded plus other patches was both longer and more troublesome than expected, the PS4 version is finally complete with the Vita version entering certification by the end of July.  With any luck this means that the entire process should be complete by the one-year anniversary of the pre-order, assuming the Vita certification goes smoothly.  There's still a ways to go to wrap up the manufacture and shipping but the end is finally in sight.
