Yesterday we reported that Warhorse Studios, a company comprised of veteran game developers, was nearing their Kickstarter goal after only a day online. Now, after a mere 36 hours that goal [£300,000] has been surpassed, and stretch goals are in the works.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is an open-world, sandbox RPG with a strong focus on realism. Rather than revolving magic or dragons, Medieval Europe will instead be home to great conflicts, large-scale battles and a kidnapped king. As per the request of your dying father, you, a lowly blacksmith will rise to the cause, and explore the nonlinear story as a knight, rogue or bard.

According to the Kickstarter page, the planned release date is late 2015 on PC, Mac and Linux, with releases for PS4 and Xbox One in the works.
