Square Enix has announced that the Kingdom Hearts protagonist is making his way to World of Final Fantasy.

Sora may not be a Final Fantasy character, but he remains a beloved character from a franchise that is linked to Final Fantasy. As such, Square Enix has opted to include him in World of Final Fantasy as a free download some time this winter.

Sora's addition is to celebrate the upcoming release of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue on PS4 next January. Sora will be available for download for a limited time only, and comes dressed in his Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance costume. Details on his powers and how exactly players can obtain him will be announced at a later date.

World of Final Fantasy is available now on PS4 and PS Vita. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is out January 24, 2017 on PS4.
