When Kirby: Triple Deluxe launched in Japan last week, it kicked quite a bit of ass while taking very few names. Launching straight to number one on the charts, and amounting over 214,000 copies sold in its first week alone, Kirby is proving that he's still a Nintendo franchise to be reckoned with.

Hopefully Kirby finds the same success across the ocean, although it's pretty likely as the core 3DS market is always craving a bright, colorful platformer -- and those are just the things that Triple Deluxe has in spades.
