Konami is going all in with eFootball PES 2020 this year. Having originally nabbed Barcelona and Lionel Messi, Konami then ended up inking a partnership with Manchester United and FC Bayer Munchen. The latest partnership may just be the dagger to EA Sports' FIFA this year. Konami announced today they have inked an exclusive partnership with Juventus F.C. This is the football club that includes Cristiano Ronaldo. Konami now has rights to the two most recognizable names in the football world.

Pavel Nedved will be the Legend featured from the Juventus F.C. in eFootball PES 2020, as Miralem Pjanic will serve as the ambassador for the game. Pjanic will participate in events for Konami to help promote the title. As for the exclusive partnership with Juventus F.C., EA may have let this one go due to Ronaldo running into legal trouble last year. He was also on the cover of FIFA 19 and would be removed from it after launch. eFootball PES 2020 launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam on September 10.
