Fans who’ve been eagerly awaiting the western release of Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III are going to have to wait just a little bit longer than expected. NIS America announced today that the game will miss its September 2019 launch window and will release on October 22 instead. The publisher did not provide many details regarding why, stating that the decision was made in order to “ensure as successful a launch window as possible.”
This doesn’t mean that fans won’t be getting any hands-on time with Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III before October though. In the same press release, NIS America also announced plans for a demo to precede the game’s launch. No release date for the demo was given, but that’ll likely come sooner rather than later since October is less than three months away now.
Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III will launch on October 22 for PlayStation 4. See our review of Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II for a refresher on where the series left off.
