Warner Bros. and TT Games have revealed their next big LEGO game, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2.

The LEGO franchise will be making its way back to the world of Marvel for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, the sequel to the 2013 original. The game brings together iconic Marvel heroes and villains from a variety of different eras and realities to create an epic experience that is completely out of this world. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 puts players in the middle of a cosmic battle as a menagerie of Marvel locations are ripped from time and space into Chronopolis, the game's hub-world.

“With a completely original branching storyline, LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes 2 introduces amazing new gameplay features, including the ability for characters to manipulate time and a four-player competitive Super Hero battling mode,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games. “With a huge array of brand new characters from the Marvel Universe, including old favorites in new guises, this game is sure to thrill both LEGO and Marvel fans, as well as newcomers to the series.”

“The LEGO Group is delighted to continue the stories of the legendary Marvel characters in a new LEGO adventure,” said Sean McEvoy, VP Digital Games, The LEGO Group. “Fans young and old will love playing through this all-new cosmic saga spanning the Marvel Universe as seen through the LEGO lens.”

“As we look to bring amazing games to Marvel fans of all ages, we’ve teamed up yet again with our incredible partners at LEGO, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games,” said Jay Ong, SVP, Games & Innovation, Marvel Entertainment. “LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes 2 brings characters from across Marvel’s history into an original story told in a way that only LEGO games can, offering hours of epic gameplay.”

Players will do battle against the time-traveling Kang the Conqueror across Chronopolis. You'll explore locations from past. present, and future including Ancient Egypt, The Old West, Sakaar, and New York City in 2099. You'll also play as unique characters like Cowboy Captain America and Spider-Man 2099 along with classic characters like Thor, Hulk, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Green Goblin, and many more. On top of this, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will feature a four player multiplayer mode that will allow friends and family to play cooperatively or competitively.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is out November 14 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A Nintendo Switch version is also in development, but a release date has yet to be confirmed. All we know is that it will be out this holiday.
