Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry is Coming to PlayStation 4, Switch

Koch Media will be bringing Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry to console in Europe after entering into a partnership with publisher Assemble Entertainment.

As part of the new agreement between the two companies, the point-and-click adventure title will receive a physical release on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch this summer.

Wet Dreams Don’t Dry sees the return of Larry Laffer as the main protagonist, making the leap from the twentieth century where his adventures began in 1987’s Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards to the twenty-first century.

It leaves players with the mission of helping Larry to try his luck with the ladies in a modern setting.

Assemble says that CrazyBunch’s title boasts new “hand-drawn 2D graphic[s] style,” along with a story that has a “very special humor” and more than thirty hand-drawn venues and characters.

The latest installment in the long-running franchise was announced in 2018, which made its way to PC and macOS late last year.

“We are pleased to have found in Koch Media an internationally strong distribution partner who supports us optimally in releasing Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry throughout Europe for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch,” says Stefan Marcinek, the CEO and founder of Assemble.

Simon Banzhaf, the director of procurement and operations at Koch Media, added: “With Assemble Entertainment, we found a partner who has proven [its] instinct not only once for the redevelopment of well-known brands.

“By all means, Larry Laffer can be seen as one of the founders of the industry. But this is only one of the reasons why we’re proud that the team of [Assemble] has chosen Koch Media as the proper distribution partner, allowing us to make the newest adventure [of] Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Don’t Dry available also for players on PlayStation 4 and [the] mobile Nintendo Switch.”
