We haven't heard much from Let It Die - the brand new hack-and-slash free-to-play title from the much-loved Japanese studio Grasshopper Manufacture and director Goichi 'Suda51' Suda - since its official announcement at Sony's E3 conference in 2014. And it seems there's a reason for that as it's been revealed that the game may have been delayed into next year.

Let It Die Delay

According to the official Japanese Playstation Store, Let It Die is slated for 2016 and though it reaffirms it will still be coming to PS4, there's no assurance this remains an exclusive for Sony's platform or not. Let It Die is described as a 'super action game' or 'extreme action game' and is reported to come with a companion app that is fully compatible with the core gameplay and experience of the console version of the game. So far there's been no word on how the 'free-to-play' mechanics will be implemented.
