Voice actor Hannah Telle has said that Life Is Strange protagonist Max Caulfield will undergo a “Transformation” in the story of the final episode in Dontnod Entertainment’s series, Episode 5: Polarized.

Speaking to Hardcore Gamer in an exclusive interview, Telle offered a sneak peek at what to expect from Max’s story arc in Episode 5: Polarized, considering that the most recent installment in Life Is Strange, Episode 4: Dark Room, left the heroine in a rather precarious situation.

“This is the episode where Max truly comes into her own,” Telle explained. “She’s operating from a place of strength, power and self-trust.”

Since Life Is Strange began with the release of Episode 1: Chrysalis in January 2015, the title has shipped more than one million copies worldwide, despite it being a digital-only title.

The strong sales figures will equate to Life Is Strange potentially receiving a physical version in the future, with Raoul Barbet, co-director on Life Is Strange, having previously expressed his desire to see physical copies of the title being distributed to retailers.

While an official release date for Episode 5: Polarized has not been confirmed, the episode will be expected to launch approximately eight weeks after the release of Episode 4: Dark Room, as Life Is Strange co-director Michel Koch stated at E3 that the development team targets an eight-week release window for each episode.

Life Is Strange Episode 5: Polarized will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Recently, publisher Square Enix confirmed that Life Is Strange would be released in Japan.
