Nintendo announced today that Marin, one of the most important characters from the Game Boy classic The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, will be a playable fighter in Hyrule Warriors on both 3DS and Wii U. The news comes just one day after Hyrule Warriors Legends launched on 3DS in North America, and makes Marin the first addition to be revealed after Nintendo announced its plans to release more Hyrule Warriors DLC in the near future.

While Nintendo didn't state when Marin would be available, it did provide the first image of her Hyrule Warriors model, which you can see below:
