Publisher Perfect World Entertainment and developer Tuque Games have announced on Wednesday a release date for the forthcoming top-down shooter title Livelock.

Retailing at $19.99, Livelock will be released on August 2, 2016, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Perfect World also said in its press release that a ‘three-pack’ of Livelock would be priced at $44.99 on the Arc, allowing groups of players to experience the shooter title cooperatively.

Livelock transports players into a futuristic setting, where they will battle against corrupted machines, dubbed ‘Clusters,’ as a Capital Intellect, a human consciousness uploaded to a large mechanical body.

Perfect World announced Livelock earlier this year, revealing the first character, Hex, at the time. Since then, however, Perfect World and Tuque Games have confirmed two additional characters for Livelock: Vanguard and Catalyst.
