The mid-'90s saw a metric ton of digitized fighting games released to ride the wave of Mortal Kombat. In 1996, Ocean decided to hop on-board a bit late - I guess they figured their pumpkin futures would peak in January. Many of these games were dreadful, and with far more licensed games being bad than good, fans had even more reason to think this game would be sub-par. The game has been sold as a reproduction cartridge for a few years now, but copy protection prevented the game from being released.

However, marvelous10 of the AssemblerGames forum found a way around it and has released the ROM online for free. The game itself appears to be finished - but not all that good. Character animation is minimal, but the CGI look is fairly good. Had it been officially released, it would have been destined for the bargain bin - and now you can play it if you so desire.
