Football season is creeping up and that means the latest Madden NFL game is on the horizon. Madden NFL 22 will be changing how the game is played and providing substantial improvements. EA is introducing Dynamic Gameplay for Madden NFL 22 and will be offering a true homefield advantage to games with a focus being more on the single player experience. Franchise Mode will also be adding some community requests as the team provided updates to the mode throughout last year and will be bringing more this year.

Dynamic Gameplay involves the raw emotion of the crowds on NFL gameday. Three core components will drive Dynamic Gameplay: Gameday Atmosphere, Gameday Momentum and Next Gen Stats: Star Driven AI. Each game will offer a deeper level of strategy and unique storytelling to unfold with every matchup.

Gameday Atmosphere will bring the power of the crowd. New environments and presentation elements will help capture impact moments along with new player personas and on-field reactions. Each team will have its own Homefield Advantage that will affect gameplay with the focus on using each of the stadium's main characteristic. For example, a louder stadium such as Seattle will cause receivers to miss hot routes and viewing a play will result in messed up routes. This is similar to what the NCAA games had years ago.

The Homefield Advantage is triggered by the new Gameday Momentum. Much like building up a Superstar X-Factor ability, there will be a meter that will trigger these events. Known as the M-Factor, this will be a game changer for Madden as it implements new variables to properly capture those dramatic fourth quarter moments in a NFL game.

Last year, EA implemented the use of Next Gen Stats to allow players to better replicate themselves on the digital field. This has evolved to Next Gen Stats: Star Driven AI will allow for team tendencies and AI behavior to better detail how each team plays as it's based on real-world data. This allows to make strategic changes as Madden NFL 22 now allows teams to make halftime adjustments to better counter the AI's gameplan. As real world teams evolve next season, Madden NFL 22 will be keeping up with this as these changes will be implemented into the game.

Franchise Mode will be bringing in skill trees for coaches, including assistants. These skill trees will allow focus on specific player skills on that side of the ball. Weekly game strategy will be overhauled to provide a deeper experience. Throughout the regular season and offseason, scenarios will happen where you will risk reward or failure for the direction of your team will occur. Franchise will continue to see free updates throughout the year.

Face of the Franchise will return and its called United We Rise. Along with Quarterback, Running Back and Wide Receiver, players can create a Linebacker. New player physiques and a new class system will let for a better customization experience and a unified progression system that will transfer over to The Yard. The Yard will bring new locations, new customization options and a new single player challenge mode. It will also include a new ranked mode to get exclusive gear. Ultimate Team will also take advantage of Dynamic Gameplay along with halftime adjustments to Superstar X-Factors. The Dynamic Gameplay options in Madden NFL 22 will only be available for next-generation consoles.
