The latest addition to the Dead or Alive 5 roster was revealed quite sometime ago. Her name is Marie Rose and she certainly brings something a little different to your typical Dead or Alive female combatant. The character was always planned to be released as downloadable content for Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate, it was only a matter of when.

Earlier today on the Japanese Dead or Alive blog, it was announced that Marie Rose will be released sometime during Spring 2014. Furthermore a patch update to Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate was also announced, which will be released sometime in February 2014. This update will not only iron out some bugs but will also add some new features that have yet to be announced.

At this point it is unclear whether Marie Rose will be paid DLC or free.
