During today's Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that the upcoming Wii U game Mario Maker will release this September. The game will let players create their own Mario levels using one of four Mario art styles. It promises to be a fantastic celebration of the Mario series, just in time for the franchise's thirtieth anniversary.

There was still no information on pricing or how much support Nintendo's own developers will show the game post-launch, but that will all come to light as we draw close to September.
