Last year, Ubisoft used their E3-adjacent showcase to announce two new games that were both set to launch in 2022: Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

While we’ve received no updates on the release windows for either of these titles, or the oft-delayed pirate game Skull & Bones, an earnings call from the French publisher has provided additional insight on exactly when we can expect these games. According to chief corporate finance officer Frédérick Duguet, Ubisoft is confident that all three of these games will launch in the second half of the company’s fiscal year, which runs between October 1, 2022-March 31, 2023. Although this indicates that either the Mario + Rabbids sequel and/or the Avatar game could be slightly delayed into the early months of next year, this news could also finally mark the near-conclusion of a lengthy development period for Skull & Bones, which was first announced nearly five years ago at E3 2017.
