Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to support High-Dynamic Range (HDR) across all consoles, as long as the player's have the necessary set-up.

Bioware Vice President Aaron Flynn has been on a roll these past few days. Flynn has taken to Twitter to answer multiple questions fans have about the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda, and he hasn't disappointed. We already know, from him, that Andromeda will not have a Season Pass. We also now know that the game will support HDR on every platform.

A fan asked whether there would be HDR support on Xbox One S, PS4, and PS4 Pro. Flynn's answer was a simple 'yes.'

HDR is an up and coming technology that the games industry has been quick to adopt. Sony made all standard and Slim PS4 consoles HDR compatible via a firmware update released back in September 2016. All PS4 Pro units come equipped with HDR support. Microsoft, on the other hand, have only added HDR to their Xbox One S units. It is unknown if the company intends to patch support into the original models. While all of this HDR talk is exciting, players will still need to have an HDR capable display to use this feature.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is out March 21 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
