As tends to be the case with many remasters, there were still bugs lingering in Mass Effect Legendary Edition after its initial launch. While there  was nothing outright game-breaking, some players may have encountered issues that soured their experiences somewhat. As of today though, many of those issues have been resolved. In a post on the game's website, EA listed a number of problems that should no be fixed thanks to today's update.

Fixes for Mass Effect Legendary Edition include trophy progress tracking bugs, overly dark cutscenes and adding the ability to set English separately for spoken dialog and subtitles. For Mass Effect specifically, bugs preventing interaction with objects, reaching the maximum character level and acquiring tier VIII Spectre -  Master Gear have been dealt with.

Mass Effect 2 players are getting a less-foggy Ilium and a more reasonably balanced amount of credits at the game's outset when carrying over from Mass Effect 1. That is, players can no longer carryover more than 100,000 credits. As for Mass Effect 3, English dialog problems have been fixed for the German and Italian versions, and characters should appear "as intended" in the Citadel DLC.

Mas Effect Legendary Edition is available now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Check out our review to learn just how well this trilogy's return is working out.
