Capcom have already provided releases from their past catalog to coincide with the Nintendo Switch's first year -- Ultra Street Fighter II released during the console's launch window in March and only recently both Resident Evil Revelations titles found themselves coming to the Switch too -- and the Japanese giant has now added a third IP to that schedule with the announcement that both the Mega Man Legacy Collection and Legacy Collection 2 will be made available on Nintendo's system in Spring 2018.

A new rewind feature -- which allows players to undo mistakes made during play -- will come with the Switch version of the first Legacy Collection, however a free update to pre-existing iterations across all platforms has also been confirmed. The first Legacy Collection previously released in August 2015 for PS4, Xbox One, PC & 3DS with the second collection launching the same month earlier this year. It'll be the first time all ten of the series' original run of games will be on the Switch and should make for a decent marathon leading up to the release of Mega Man 11 in late 2018.
