The latest iteration with Metal Gear Online will be accessible with all copies of Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain. This revamped online mode will be available in all versions of Metal Gear Solid V, with some slight modifications.

The PC, Xbox One, and PS4 editions will support up to 16 players online. While the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions will support a slightly smaller count, supporting up to 12 players online.

The player count details were made available on the official Japanese Metal Gear Solid V website.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released on September 1 in North America.
